Anna Kerlek, MD, is a clinical assistant professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine and associate director of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry. Dr. Kerlek works at Bellevue Hospital Center in the Child Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program and on the inpatient units. She is involved in teaching and supervising medical students, adult psychiatry residents, and child psychiatry residents.
Dr. Kerlek is board certified in both general and child and adolescent psychiatry.
Dr. Kerlek received her bachelor's degree at the University of Miami, FL and received her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the NYU School of Medicine and child and adolescent psychiatry training at the Child Study Center at NYULMC and Bellevue Hospital Center where she was chief resident in her final year of training.
Dr. Kerlek is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and the Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry (ADMSEP).
