Benjamin A. Spinner, MD is assistant chief of the Child Psychiatry Inpatient Unit at Bellevue Hospital Center and clinical assistant professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine.

Dr. Spinner graduated from Columbia College with a B.A. in English and comparative literature. He received his M.D. from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.

Dr. Spinner completed his training in general psychiatry at the Boston University Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia and Cornell where he was honored by the fellowship program with the 2010 Edward J. Sachar Award for Clinical Excellence.
