Blake Phillips, MD, is a resident in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Child Study Center at NYU Langone Medical Center. His clinical interests include the treatment of anxiety disorders, eating disorders, and substance use disorders in the adolescent population as well as student mental health. Additional interests include public policy and administrative psychiatry.
Dr. Phillips received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Lyon College, Arkansas, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was awarded the Ellis G. & Mary Newton Mosely Fellowship for graduates entering post-graduate training in medical sciences. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Services where he was inducted to Alpha Omega Alpha and was awarded the Marie Wilson Howells Award for Psychiatry. He completed his general adult psychiatry residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
During his general psychiatry residency, Dr. Phillips was appointed as a resident member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry’s Work Force Issues Committee.
