Jennifer Sweet, MD, is a resident in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Child Study Center at NYU Langone Medical Center. Her clinical interests include trauma and resilience in children and adolescents, substance abuse in adolescents, and child-parent attachment issues.
Dr. Sweet received her bachelor’s degree in biology from the Boston College, Massachusetts. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center, where she was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and served as a student founder and senior volunteer at the student run free clinic. She completed her general adult psychiatry residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Prior to starting her child and adolescent psychiatry training at NYU, Dr. Sweet served on the Residency Council for the Department of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell and co-captained the New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell’s National Alliance on Mental Illness Walk team.
