Karen Fleiss, PsyD, is the clinical director of the Child Study Center's Long Island office and an assistant professor of child and adolescent psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine. She is also the director of our Summer Program for Kids (SPK), the only specialized therapeutic day program for children with ADHD in the New York metropolitan area. Dr. Fleiss has more than twenty years of experience in diagnosing and treating children with behavioral and social issues. She works extensively with parents and schools to insure that treatments are instituted in all settings. Dr. Fleiss was the lead research clinician on the MTA, a national study that looked at the best treatments for children with ADHD.

Dr. Fleiss earned her doctoral degree from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology at Yeshiva University.
