Dr. Gabbay is Medical Director of our Anita Saltz Institute for Anxiety and Mood Disorders and is Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine. One of the nation’s leading experts in the clinical treatment of adolescent depression, Dr. Gabbay is also a renowned researcher. Her research focuses on the use of Omega-3 fatty acids (fish oil) in the treatment of mood disorders.
Dr. Gabbay earned her M.D. and her B.Med.Sc. in Human Sciences from Tel Aviv University in Israel. She completed a residency in General Psychiatry at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU School of Medicine.
