Daisy Jackson is a neuropsychology extern at the NYU Child Study Center. Ms. Jackson is a fourth year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at New York University, where she also received her Masters in Educational Psychology in 2007. She completed her B.A. in psychology at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Ms. Jackson was a pre-doctoral fellow at the Institute for Education Sciences and as part of her training she worked on a research team evaluating the effectiveness of a teacher-consultation model designed to support elementary school teachers in their work with children with emotional, behavioral, and learning problems.
Ms. Jackson completed an externship at Mt. Sinai's Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center where she administered neuropsychological assessments to adults with traumatic brain injury. She completed her second externship at Lenox Hill Hospital's Center for Attention and Learning Disorders where her responsibilities included comprehensive neuropsychological testing for children and adolescents and therapy with parents.
