Judith Fiona Joseph, M.D., M.B.A, is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Resident at the NYU Child Study Center. Her clinical interests include eating disorders, global psychiatry, media, and battling stigma against those with mental illness.
Dr. Joseph received a B.S. in biology, cum laude, from Duke University; her M.D. from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons; and her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, and the New York State Psychiatric Institute (NYSPI).
While at Columbia, Dr. Joseph developed cultural competency workshops for physicians, which she taught at international and local conferences. At Columbia, Dr. Joseph also participated in epidemiological research in Bipolar Disorder. She is currently an American Psychiatric Association (APA) SAMHSA Minority Fellow and is developing a documentary to battle stigma against those with mental illness.
Dr. Joseph is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Association of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.
