Rebeca is the 2008-2010 Koplowitz Fellow. She received her B.A. and M.A. in psychology and her Ph.D. in neuropsychology from the University of Salamanca in Spain. She completed post-graduate training in psychodynamic therapy at the Dr. Villacian Mental Hospital (Spain). Prior to joining NYU, she was working at the Centre for Parent and Child Support (London) and in the Pediatric Oncology/Hematology Unit of the Guy's Hospital (London). Rebeca Garcia-Nieto is the author of several peer-reviewed journal articles and other professional publications. She is a member of the Hispanics Mental Health Professionals Association.
