Beth K. Rowan

Ms. Rowan directs all strategic communications and marketing efforts on behalf of the NYU Child Study Center, including media relations, education, public service advertising, and branding. She also manages the Center's award-winning Web site www.AboutOurKids.org.

Ms. Rowan is a graduate of Rosemont College and City of London College with a B.A. in English Literature. She also holds a certificate in investor relations from the University of Connecticut.

Beth Rowan was formerly a director at Burson-Marsteller and senior vice-president at Ruder Finn and Rowland Communications where she led accounts in healthcare, branding and marketing. She was the director of national media relations for the March of Dimes, the third largest healthcare non-profit in the U.S, where her team was a finalist for the national PR Week Nonprofit Team of the Year Award. A former daily newspaper reporter, she is the author of freelance articles and advertorial sections that have appeared in the New York Times, Newsweek and Gannett.

Ms. Rowan is a member of New York Women in Communications and Advertising Women of New York.
