Janna Stein, Psy.D.

Janna Stein, Psy.D., is a child behavior therapist at the Institute for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity and Behavior Disorders. She is currently a therapist on the OTMP study, which is testing the efficacy of two different treatment approaches for children with ADHD and significant difficulties with organizational skills, time management, and planning. She is also a therapist on the Preschool/ADHD study. This study evaluates the effectiveness of two different parenting programs in reducing symptoms in overactive, impulsive and inattentive preschoolers.

Dr. Stein is also a clinical supervisor at the NYU Summer Program for Kids, where she oversees children and staff, develops treatment plans, and leads weekly parent training group sessions.

Dr. Stein received her B.A. in psychology from Binghamton University and her M.S. Ed. and Psy.D. in school/child-clinical psychology from Pace University.

Dr. Stein is a member of the American Psychological Association.
