Dr. Foubister is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Psychiatry at the NYU Medical Center and Director of the Tisch Young Adult Inpatient Program, as well as Assistant Unit Chief for Inpatient Psychiatry. She also serves on its Education Committee and Clinical Outcomes Committee. She specializes in child forensics, with a focus on attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders, obsessive compulsive disorders and depression.

Dr. Foubister has been honored with the Melvin Lewis Award for Teaching Excellence from the Yale Child Study Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Her work has been published in the Journal of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
