Christine Cox, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow; Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders

Christine Cox, PhD, is a postdoctoral fellow in the Center for Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the Child Study Center and a member of the Postdoctoral Training Program in Research on Abused Drugs. Her main areas of interest include the use of neuroimaging techniques (e.g., resting state fMRI) to investigate the neural correlates of social cognitive abilities in both neurotypical and clinical populations.

Dr. Cox received her BA in cognitive science and philosophy from Tulane University and her PhD in cognitive neuroscience and psychology from the University of Arizona.

Dr. Cox has published in the international peer-reviewed journals PLoS ONE and Neuropsychologia, and is a member of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping, the Social and Affective Neuroscience Society, the Society for Neuroscience, the Society for Personality and Social Psychology, and the Cognitive Neuroscience Society.
