Dr. Jennifer Havens Presented with Child Advocacy Award

The Child Study Center's Dr. Jennifer Havens was presented with the Child Advocacy Award late last month by the Commissioner of Administration for Children's Services. This Award recognizes outstanding individuals or organizations who promote the safety and well-being of children and young people in New York City by going beyond what is expected of them. Dr. Havens was one of six individuals who received the award this year. In honoring these exemplary New Yorkers, Commissioner Ronald E. Richter cited them for their extraordinary efforts to protect children, strengthen families, and for supporting Children's Services' efforts to achieve these goals. A big congrats to Dr. Havens.
