Professional Education

The NYU Child Study Center offers a number of lectures and programs to help professionals promote the healthy development and mental health of our children. Some of our current professional development offerings include:

For Educators

The Sunny and Abe Rosenberg Foundation Lecture Series

This series of free professional development seminars, presented by the NYU School Partnership at the NYU Child Study Center, provide school-based practitioners updates on recent advances in children's mental health. New Teacher UFT credits are available.

The Annual Adam Jeffrey Katz Memorial Lecture Series

This free annual program gives two different perspectives on learning differences. If brings together successful individuals who have overcome their learning disabilities to share their stories, along with experts in the field to present current research on prevention, identification, and treatment of learning differences.

NYU School Partnership

The Child Study Center provides trained child psychologists and child and adolescent psychiatrists to educate New York City area schools' administrators, teachers, and staff to recognize high-risk students and how to manage this population in a main-stream educational setting.

For Mental Health Professionals

Advanced Training

Our advanced training program educates the next generation of innovative leaders in children's mental health.

Grand Rounds

The NYU Child Study Center Grand Rounds provides a forum for the presentation of clinical and research advances in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. We offer opportunities for continuing education credits.
